RxPLORE is a 3-day summer day camp that aims to expose high school sophomores and juniors to the opportunities of Pharmacy. The camp is free, and each day is dedicated to a specific field of pharmacy and students would be signed up to attend all three days when registering. Additionally, the pharmacy school and university tours will be offered during these days. Activities include various hands-on activities relating to pharmacy such as: Blood pressure, vaccine, and IV injection practices. Breakfast and lunch will be included.
Over the three days of the camp, you will get to experience hands-on activities within the community, hospital, and industry days to learn more about the field of pharmacy. Some activities include: compounding, visiting labs, interacting with the sim-man and more!
